MEMBERSHIP TIERS

Studio Sessions has 3 membership levels.
Each tier gives you access to a certain number of hours.

• Supporter = 3 hours on any Wednesday from 5 to 8 or Thursday from 10 to 1

• Fan = 6 hours on any Wednesday from 5 to 8 or/and Thursday from 10 to 1

• Super Fan = 9 hours on any Wednesday from 5 to 8 or/and Thursday from 10 to 1 + 2 hours every 2nd Saturday of the month

HOW IT WORKS

Upon purchase, you will receive an email with a receipt and a link. This link is uniquely tied to your membership and will give you access to the appointment schedule. Simply pick a slot and enter your information. Your credit(s) will be deducted from your membership, and you’ll receive a confirmation email.

To view your remaining credit, click on “check code balance” at the bottom of the scheduling page.

Depending on your tier, you’ll receive a credit to use for Open Sessions. This credit is automatically renewed monthly based on the date of your purchase. For example, if you purchased it on October 1st, your membership will renew on November 1st.

HOW CAN PURCHASE/USE A MEMBERSHIP

Memberships are for adults only. We recommend taking at least 2 classes/lessons with us before becoming a member to be comfortable using the equipment and the space.
You should know how to operate a sewing machine on your own. An assistant will be present for any machine troubleshooting, but no sewing instruction will be provided. If you need help, you should schedule a private lesson.

STUDIO ACCESS AND BOOKING

Your membership gives you access to the Studio and equipment. You can book your slot up to 45 days in advance and 1h before the session starts. Please note that we may not accommodate you if you didn’t reserve your seat.

STUDIO EQUIPMENT

The Studio is fully equipped with sewing machines (6 Singers Heavy Duty + 3 Brother CS600i), working and cutting tables, seam rippers, 5 ironing boards and irons, scissors, rotary cutters, pins, pattern weights… You will also have access to thread for sewing machines and sergers to use at the Studio.

Please note that sergers will be available to members after they demonstrate proficiency in their use. If you’d like to use one of our machines (Brother 1034D), you need to attend one of our training sessions – contact us for scheduling and fees.

Tracing paper, drafting paper, muslin, interfacing, and notions are not included in the membership, but will be available to purchase.

DISCOUNT CODE

Your discount code will be sent to you and will be valid for that month. Discount codes may be applied to any retail item at Studio Sessions (A0 prints included). A new discount code will be sent at the start of each month, valid that month only.  

A0 PRINTS

A0 prints are included in your membership and should be send via your online membership area. You’ll find further information there.

GUEST PAST

Fan and Super Fan tiers can purchase one guest pass a month ($45/slot- subject to availability).
You can request your guest pass via the online membership area.

FAQ

• What kind of help will I receive?
  Unfortunately, instruction is not offered for Open Sessions.

• May I use my own machine?
  It is subject to availability, please email us beforehand.

• What kinds of tools are available for me to use during the session?
  Pins, seam rippers, bobbins, thread, scissors, snips, rotary cutters…

• What kinds of materials can I bring to my session?
  Please bring your fabric, thread and any notions you’ll for your project.

• Will I be able to buy materials at the Studio?
  Yes, of course! We have various buttons, threads and tools at the Shop that are available for purchase, to which your discount code can be applied.

• How can I access the online membership area?
  A link and password will be sent to you to access the page.

• What is Behind the Seams?
  Super Fans have access to Behind the Seams, the Studio’s journal by Eli and the team. You’ll find inspiration, stories, projects, sew along, tips and techniques, special discounts and events.

• When will my credit card be charged for my renewal?
  Your card will be charged automatically every month.

• How do I cancel my membership?
  You can cancel your membership anytime – by following the link on your receipt or by contacting us via email.
