With garment samples, Olivia will also guide you on how to choose the right fabric for your project, the best buying strategies, and questions you might have about your future projects.

About your lecturer
Olivia’s love of sewing began way back in high school and ultimately brought her to her current job as a fabric buyer at Stonemountain & Daughter Fabrics. In her free time, she can usually be found sewing (or dreaming up her next project), but also knitting, baking, gardening, or taking up a new tactile hobby. Recent endeavors include a foray into projector sewing, practicing Spanish with her partner, and brewing kombucha. She resides with her partner and a cat named Pearl in Oakland.
