Free range slacks with Catherine

  • Studio Sessions 2924 College Avenue Berkeley, CA, 94705 United States (map)

In this one-day workshop, learn how to sew a pair of Free Range Slacks with our guest instructor Catherine from @threadsnips. Very popular among the sewing community, the Free Range Slacks are a pair of high-waisted pants that offer a relaxed style. You can choose between a wide or tapered leg featuring with elasticated waist, side panels, and front pockets.

Catherine will guide you through the whole construction process, and you’ll learn how to sew:
- a waist casing
- pockets
- hemming

Pick one fabric for your Free Range Slacks: cotton Twill Olive or organic lightweight canvas.

Choose your size according to the measurement chart, not the size you are in ready to wear!

In order to sign up for the class, you need to know the basics (thread the machine, recognize wrong/right size, straight and backstitch, and basic sewing vocabulary). Check out the sewing class Module 1 or book a private lesson if you never sewed before.

$310 includes fabric cut to size and ready to sew, notions, and sewing machine.
