Spent 4 hours with us, learning how to weave a bag!

This beginner-friendly workshop is a fun way to explore weaving if you’re just starting, or to deepen your practice if you already have some experience.

Textile artist and educator Jessie Mordine Young will guide you step by step through the essentials of weaving. You’ll work with recycled cotton cord of in choice of colors, creating a flexible and durable bag that’s both functional and one-of-a-kind.
Along the way, Jessie will also share techniques you can use to expand on your design and keep practicing beyond the class.

You’ll leave with a beautiful handmade bag, and the skills and confidence to keep weaving!

Please note, everyone works at different paces, and though the majority of students will be able to complete their bags in the allotted 4 hours, some may not! All materials, pdf resources and a live office hour with Jessie will be provided to each student.
